We are working on this. We stopped the practice only because we had to trim the load in and rehearsal process so tightly that I wanted to give the directors full freedom to stop and correct up to the last minute, and that's difficult with an audience expecting to be entertained. Regardless of whether or not we can open up the mainstage for student previews, there are other options. Are you aware of the open rehearsals in the weeks leading up to the final dates? The locations change depending on facility availability, but I find that watching the creative process can be very interesting. It certainly adds a lot to your appreciation of the final product.
